This IBC Tank adapter features a 2 inch, female, fine, National Pipe Thread that converts to a brass, garden hose fitting. The threaded fitting easily connects to the fine threaded valve outlet on some IBC Tote containers. The tapered threads of the NPT fitting help provide a tight and leak-proof connection. This fitting will not thread onto an IBC Tote outlet with a large concave grove. Tote outlets with a large concave grove will require a Camlock style adapter.
