This IBC Tank adapter features a 2 inch, female, fine, National Pipe Thread fitting that converts to a garden hose shutoff. The heavy duty, threaded fitting easily connects to the fine threaded valve outlet on some IBC Tote containers. The tapered threads of the NPT fitting help provide a tight and leak-proof connection. The garden hose connection incorporates a shutoff valve which can help preserve the life of the existing IBC valve.
This fitting will not thread onto an IBC Tote outlet with a large concave grove. Tote outlets with a large concave grove will require a Camlock style adapter.
