This IBC Tank adapter features a 2 inch, female, fine, National Pipe Thread fitting that converts to a brass, 1/4 turn, hose bibb. The threaded fitting easily connects to the fine threaded valve outlet on some IBC Tote containers. The tapered threads of the NPT fitting help provide a tight and leak-proof connection. The hose bibb is a great way to stop beating your knuckles on the cage of an IBC Tank and preserve the life of the existing IBC valve.
This fitting will not thread onto an IBC Tote outlet with a large concave grove. Tote outlets with a large concave grove will require a Camlock style adapter.
